Gurbinder Gill has over 14 years of experience in marketing & procurement of agricultural commodities including fresh produce. He was involved in analysis & research for quality assurance and handling of perishable produce.
His vast experience in the field includes assessing certain links in the cold-chain infrastructure of India, China, Vietnam, Jordan, Turkey and the Philippines, developing resource materials and conducting a series of seminars and workshops to improve the perishable produce handling, storage and processing capabilities in these countries based on HACCP/ISO/OSHA regulations. Furthermore, he worked with Indian government agencies in developing a comprehensive report on fresh produce packaging and handling center at New Delhi airport including the preparations of an international conference.
His fields of expertise are international agricultural trade, market development analysis, and strategic planning.
